Description
“Ta’liq” means suspended. In this script, each letter within a word appears to drop down from the letter preceding it. Horizontal letters have an elongated flow that appear to float across the page, lending an air of calm and fluidity. Ta’liq was developed for the Persian language in the 14th century for royal correspondence.
